Wet to water heat pump is a device that has the potential to extract all the warmth from one source of low temperature water, for instance, the underground water, water used for industrial purposes and transfer the heat to a higher temperature source. This concept can be used almost anywhere if there is a sufficient availability of heat in the form of a low temperature water source, in combination with a load through which this particular heat can be delivered to a higher temperature source.

Water to water air pumps follow the same principle as an air source heat pump, but the only difference is that they extract the heat from a water source rather than the atmospheric air. This process is carried out with the help of a collection of pipes that gets laid closer to the natural water source.

Water is made to circulate through these pipes, it collects all the heat from the natural water source such as lake, reservoir or natural water source and carries it back to the house or the building.

Water to water heat pump can supply water to radiators as well as to ACs. During the summers, the process of the water heater system is reversed and the cooler water is carried to the houses and supplied through air conditioners. Heat from the houses are expelled in the cooler water of the storage tanks situated outside.

Water source heat pumps are slightly better in cooling aspects than in heating, especially during the winter season. However, it is one of the best sources of water heating during the summers. What is a water-to-water heat pump?

Water-to-water heat pump Dubai transmits subsurface heat energy from hot water or steam to hot water or steam inside a structure. This hot water or steam is then transported by radiators, hot water baseboard heaters, or radiant floor heating to homes and businesses. When a hotter substance comes into touch with a colder one, the temperature differential allows heat to naturally flow from hot to cold, making heat pumps renewable and efficient.

How is a water-to-water heat pump different from a water-to-air heat pump? The water-to-water heat pump is compatible with hydronic radiant HVAC systems, while the air-to-water heat pump is compatible with forced-air HVAC systems.

Water-to-air heat pumps provide both heat and air conditioning. However, water-to-water heat pumps can only provide hot water or heat, but not air conditioning. Even while radiators can be excellent for winter heating, the same idea does not work well for air conditioning. Attempting to cool a house with a radiator is akin to trying to cool down on a hot day by standing next to an ice sculpture – it just does not work.
